- I am a reformed political junkie. I was elected twice to the Maumee Board of Eduction, ran (but lost) for Mayor of Maumee, I was also a former member of the Lucas County Republican Party Central and Executive Committees. I was awarded the 20 under 40 award (for the top 20 area leaders under 40 years of age) in 1997.
